CUSTOMERS at Dillons in Gorse Hill helped raise £80 for an 18-month-old girl suffering from a rare condition.
Manager Brenda Barrett doubled the £40 raised for little Ellie Meakin, of Essex, who has been diagnosed with congenital hip dysplasia and global development delay.
She is currently receiving treatment for the illnesses which affect her senses and mobility.
The Strongbones Children's Charit-able Trust wants to raise £10,000 to help her family build a sensory room. They also need to install special flooring and play equipment in the garden.
