THE ORGANISER of a reunion party for employees at a top Swindon hairdresser is still looking for 11 of the girls who used to work there.
Lyn Evans has arranged the reunion for the women who worked at her mother Cordelia's hairdressers either in the original branch in Curtis Street or in the second branch which opened in Moredon.
She said: "I'm making a plea for these girls to come forward for this reunion.
"My mum would have been in business for 50 years this year.
"But she has just retired. She will be the guest of honour on the night."
Lyn has not been able to find Penny Fennel, Christine Drury, Susan Hill, Diane Sealey, Janet Molloy, Tina Noyes, Emma Bell, Julie Rideout, Pauline Goodman, Sandra Young or Sandra Ferguson.
The party is booked for the Wild Duck at Ewen, near Cirencester on October 31.
Lyn said: "It's on Halloween night.
"They needn't bring their brooms but they can bring their part-ners," said Lynn.
Any of Cordelia's girls who want to come along should contact Lyn on 01793 783770.
