ANDY King has been offered the chance to sign Rushden & Diamonds midfielder Andy Burgess but only if Rory Fallon is allowed to move in the other direction.
And that is something the Town boss won't contemplate at the moment.
King had made an enquiry about the availability of Burgess and Rushden boss Ernie Tippett was willing to negotiate, requesting striker Fallon in a swap deal.
But the arrival of Christian Roberts at the County Ground today ends King's long search for a third experienced forward and he is unwilling to let Fallon go and find himself needing to bolster his attacking options all over again.
