Top quality theatre will be appearing in Malmesbury as the award-winning Watermill Theatre's touring production of The Comedian comes to Malmesbury Town Hall.
The production is one night only and takes place on Saturday, October 23 at 7.30pm.
The Comedian is Ade Morris's latest work and is a play based on central character Jimmy Baker who is an ageing alternative comedian who has lived for the last 30 years in the public eye.
Town clerk Phil Rice said he was delighted the town had the opportunity to see the show.
"I think it is great we are getting such a well known theatre group coming to the town and clearly, if this experiment is successful, it's something we would like to do again."
Tickets are available from various businesses and Malmesbury Tourist Information Centre for £7 each.
