A new group will hold open its doors on October 26 to support carers looking after people with mental health problems.
The inaugural meeting will be held at the Jubilee rooms in Chippenham, from 2pm to 4pm, for carers who attend people with mental health need such as depression, schizophrenia and anxieties.
Any carer living in north Wiltshire is welcome to attend and meet others in similar situations as well as having the opportunity to have discussions with professionals such as psychiatrists, psychologists and service managers.
Carers Support North Wiltshire has supported carers in the district for many years and will facilitate the new group.
It will meet on the last Tuesday of every month at 2pm.
They also have monthly support groups for carers in Calne, Corsham, Chippenham, Malmesbury, Wootton Bassett and Cricklade.
