14313/02GAZETTE & HERALD: Calne company Arrow Tyre Services brought a bit of the speed and thrills of Formula One to the town last week when Michael Schumacher's 2003 racecar came as part of a Bridgestone Tyre deal.
Along with the Schumacher's car was a £50,000 Formula One simulator where people could compete against other racers such as Britain's Jenson Button in a three-lap event.
Roger Line, a director for Arrow Tyre Service on Porte Marsh Road, said: "We wanted to give ourselves a high status in the community and we wanted to give something back too."
The car sat outside Sainsbury's to get the highest number of customers and raise the highest amount of money for charity.
"We are not taking any money out and we are giving everything to Wiltshire Air Ambulance," said Mr Line.
