PHOTOFIT: Wanted youthPOLICE are renewing their appeal for information on two teenage burglars who stole £1,500 and jewellery from the home of Gladys Gibson in Seend.
The pair broke into her home on Sunday October 3 at 8pm.
One of the youths confronted Mrs Gibson, who is 77 and is hooked up to oxygen all the time, and pushed her back into her chair.
Police have issued a CD fit of this offender.
Both youths are thought to be aged between 15 and 17, of slim build with dark hair.
One had a very pale complexion and was wearing a blue anorak, blue jeans and trainers. The other wore a beige jacket.
Following an appeal in last week's Gazette one of the tins stolen from Mrs Gibson's home was recovered following information from the public.
The tin was discovered on the main road on the outskirts of the village. Three other tins have not been found.
DC Mandy Carver of Kennet CID said: "We are pleased to recover one of the tins as it may contain evidence for us."Anyone with information about the burglary should contact DC Carver on (01380) 722141 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
