CELEBRITY chef Keith Floyd has pulled out of his bid to buy Highworth's Jesmond Hotel.
The hotel was put up for sale earlier this year by Swindon borough councillor Lisa Hawkes, right, following the death of her husband Maurice.
The 16th century hotel which is on the market for between £650,000 and £700,000 caught the eye of chef Keith Floyd, who knows the area.
But Ms Hawkes has now revealed that the deal has been scuppered.
"I'm not sure of the reasons, but it's not going through," she said. "We have one or two other interested parties."
