FREE drug awareness training is available in Swindon.
The borough's Drug And Alcohol Action Team has organised the training for staff in both the public and voluntary sector.
The one and two-day courses are held by the Merus Training Consultancy at various venues.
DAAT manager Glenys Armstrong said: "We have paid in advance for the training in order to make it available for anyone wanting to know more about this area of work.
"There are up to 20 places available on each of the training days, which will be held over the coming six months."
The first course is in basic drug awareness and runs from October 27 and 29.
Others cover identifying drug uses on premises where you work, working with drug users in the criminal justice field and alcohol awareness.
