What is the point of installing speed limit signs along a stretch of dual carriageway from Bruce Street bridges to Mannington roundabout on Great Western Way when they are never policed?
I strictly adhere to these limits, one being 30mph, the other 40mph, and nearly everything from private cars to big commercial vehicles passes me, some doing 55mph, with their horns tooting and hand gestures as if it is me in the wrong.
I would like to see the presence of a speed trap more often to catch these speed merchants. When they are pulled over, I could give them a toot and a hand gesture of my own.
However, I doubt that will ever happen, it's too close to Rodbourne and Rodbourne is not known to have policing or a beat bobby. Why?
So come on, if you apply a speed limit enforce it now and again it's what we pay for.
