TODAY is World Sight Day and today, like every other day, one person in our world will go blind every five seconds.
Yet today, here in the UK, as many as ten million people are putting their sight at risk by not having regular eye tests.
That's why on World Sight Day we are calling on everyone to book an eye test.
An eye test is not just about glasses it is a vital health check for your eyes.
A full eye test takes about half an hour and can help detect eye diseases before you notice the effect on your sight.
RNIB recommends that you have an eye test at least once every two years, or more often if advised by a health professional.
Nine out of ten people fear losing their sight above any other sense so look after your eyes and book a test today!
