A NURSERY in Melksham is celebrating a glowing Ofsted report. Snapdragons day nursery has been praised for offering a warm and friendly atmosphere that promotes learning while also allowing children to grow in confidence and self-esteem.
Manager Lisa Missen said: "All the feedback was really positive and we are very pleased with the results."
The nursery in St Margaret's Gardens has 27 children on its books, aged up to five years old. The inspectors spent a day at the nursery in June, to judge not just the education offered but also the standard of care given.
The report said: "High expectations of children's behaviour combines with genuine use of praise and encouragement to support the development of children's self-esteem.
"Good relationships are evident between children and the staff who are good role models."
