A RAIL forum will be held in Warminster tonight involving west Wiltshire MP Dr Andrew Murrison.
The shadow health minister will be one of the invited guests at a forum in Dewey House at 7.30pm.
Richard Gibson and Malcolm Drury, of Wessex Trains, and Chris Iwin, who is the chairman of the Rail Passengers Committee for Western England, will be among other people attending the forum.
One of the key topics will be the saved London Waterloo service, which was the focus of the Wiltshire Times Save Our Train campaign.
Hundreds of people signed our petition to save the service from Bradford on Avon to the London station.
Dr Murrison gave the campaign his backing.
He said: "I am very much looking forward to taking part in the forum.
"The West Wiltshire Rail Users Group has been very influential in persuading the authorities that the direct service to
London should remain.
"It is important for local people to keep up the pressure on the Strategic Rail Authority so that this valued link between west Wiltshire and London is safeguarded in the future."
