A WILTSHIRE water supplier has attacked Ofwat's latest draft decision on price limits, claiming they are too high.
WaterVoice Wessex, which represents a number of companies including Wessex Water, issued a formal response to the five-year proposals, which would see water costs pushed up by 7.4 per cent in April 2005, equating to an increase of £21.
The action was based on customers' views on plans announced in August.
WaterVoice said the watchdog's decision would make it difficult for those with lower incomes to pay their water bills.
However WaterVoice also claimed that over the 2005-2010 period most customers would be getting value for money.
