I LIVE near Clarendon College. The pupils cause two problems for our estate.
I take pride in where I live and try to do as much as I can to keep our part of the street clear of rubbish which the pupils drop each day on our pavements.
The second problem is in the lunch hour. All you can hear is foul language from the pupils in the school fields. There is nothing worse than sitting in your back garden and hearing pupils shouting foul words at the top of their voices. If foul language could be banned in schools then perhaps we could hear people talking English with out hearing the F word in every sentence.
I for one hate hearing people talk like this. In my grandparents' day you were seen and not heard. It's a shame it's not like that today.
Pupils must learn discipline and respect others or we will have a nation who thinks it is normal to talk all the time with the F word in every sentence. I do hope our council find a way of stopping this common assault on our ears.
It's not the school at fault for this, it's the pupils who pick it up from TV and adults.
The pupils must stamp out this bad habit which is not nice to hear. No one should have to put up with people swearing in school or the workplace.
