A PRIMARY school will find out today whether its seven-classroom extension can be built in time for the next academic year.
The Mead School in Hilperton needs to reach its full 14-classroom capacity and create more play space on site by removing mobile classrooms.
Wiltshire County Council could not fund it in its 2004/05 budget and rolled it over to 2005/06. But county education chief Bob Wolfson is asking the council's cabinet to bring the scheme forward for this financial year and save £175,000 in the process, by moving the mobile to other schools to save hiring others.
