MURDER and mayhem broke out at a Trowbridge caf as the Greeks and Trojans clashed in the town.
Students from The John of Gaunt School were at Berkeley's caf to film scenes for a production of Shakespeare's Troilus and Cressida.
Jane Asplin, head of performing arts at the school, said: "We are filming a number of scenes in Trowbridge and they will be woven into the live drama on stage.
"We are bringing a mixed media approach to the production, including live music, film and drama."
Up to 60 youngsters from year seven to 13 are involved in the production, which sets the play in the 1980s.
The actors used Berkeley's as the location for Hector being stabbed by Achilles and there are plans to film scenes at other businesses in the town, including Red or White, in Castle Street.
The rival factions in the play, the Greeks and the Trojans, dressed as 1980s New Romantics and pop group Madness.
Mrs Asplin said: "It really gets the kids excited and it is a new way of making Shakespeare interesting and contemporary for young people."
It is the third Shakespeare production the school has put on over the past few years.
