CHRISTIAN Roberts will be unleashed for the first time today with Andy King hoping the Welshman will fire the goals needed to successfully steer Town through a hectic period.
Five matches in 14 days will test the manager's squad to its limit.
King admits fingers are well and truly crossed that points flow but injuries and suspensions do not.
With 15 points on offer King knows it is an important period for the club.
However, he refuses to see it as 'make or break' time.
He said: "I just want to get through this period still challenging."
New boy Roberts will have a central role to play, and King said: "I haven't brought Christian Roberts in to put him on the bench."
The former Bristol City man is likely to start alongside Rory Fallon today, but while Roberts settles in, on-loan midfielder Jamie McMaster will soon be shipping out.
Leeds United have indicated that they want the Australian back at Elland Road when his month expires.
