SWINDON Civic Trust is compiling the results of its consultation on the town's future.
Hundreds of questionnaires were filled in at an exhibition at the former Railway Museum.
On display were ideas for an alternative regeneration project in opposition to the New Swindon Company's plans.
Trust chairman John Monniot (pictured) said: "Most supported us, and felt strongly about protecting Coate.
"We will be talking to the NSC and the University of Bath."
