SWINDON'S Front Garden Action Group (FRAG) is still calling for Swindonians to give their views on future developments.
The green light may have been given for development on the 700-acre-site but the group says it is never too late to be heard.
FRAG is asking the town whether it wants a greenfield recreational site or two miles of brick concrete and tarmac in the form of 4,500 new homes.
According to the organisation, the site between the Great Western Hospital and the M4 would suffer from flooding.
The European Wildlife Agency is considering action because of the 110 endangered species on the site.
The group also claims that there has been no effort by town planners to look at a long-term plan for traffic in the town and how the development will affect Old Town and other nearby areas.
Terry King, chairman of FRAG, said: "The biggest issue is traffic.
"The council has given permission to each of these developments in isolation, but no one has taken the time to thoroughly investigate the effect all these developments will have on local roads.
"We are keen to hear everyone's views and build up support against these huge developments."
Mr King added: "We shall continue the Front Garden fight in the hope that common sense, logic and changing circumstances will prevent this unpopular and ill-considered development."
