Nicci Nyaitwr, Nicky Sellars and Eunice Salmon FIVE women served up a record number of breakfasts with their bras showing in support of Breast Cancer Awareness month.
The volunteers dished out bacon, egg and sausage baps, croissants and orange juice from two homes in Pilton Close, Swindon.
And thanks to donations from farms and supermarkets more breakfasts were dished out yesterday than since the event started in 1999. The cooks expect to raise at least £1,000.
Eunice Salmon, 44, who got up at 5am to start cooking at her home, said about 90 people were served with hot feasts and 107 people collected takeaways.
"There were about twice as many people this time," she said. "It's like a military operation now.
"There will be a massive clean-up operation afterwards but not before we've had our own breakfasts. We're always the last to have one and it is a real treat.
"And standing in front of the oven kept us warm in our bras."
Mrs Salmon, said it was important to raise awareness about the disease.
"It is dreadful and affects so many women," she said.
