I AM writing in response to your article about the South West Swan Sanctuary run by my neighbours Mr and Mrs Hulbert.
Last October, I wrote to the Queen, because I thought that all swans belonged to her and asked her to help the Hulberts with some money.
Uncle Roger is not very well but often has to drive to a bigger sanctuary near London.
He and Auntie Sue never stop helping birds and animals, through the night too, without ever asking for money.
Buckingham Palace wrote a nice letter back to say that some swans were the Queen's, but not all and that they sent their best wishes to the Hulberts.
When I am older I will help them as much as I can. My older brother and sister went on a swan rescue recently, which they said was really exciting.
