CHRISTIAN Roberts heads for Vale Park tomorrow night boasting a 100 per cent scoring record for Swindon Town and the striker is happy to cope with the pressure that instant acclaim inevitably brings.
The 24-year-old became a County Ground hero with a debut winner against struggling Oldham Athletic on Saturday.
He is now looking to add to his tally at Vale, a club which recently coveted his services, and is not worried that the travelling fans will be expecting him to strike again.
He said: "I'm here to score goals to win games to get this team into the Championship.
"I'm not here to just sit back and think it's just another couple of years of football in my career. I'm here to win promotion.
"As a striker you are judged on goals.
"If I win 10 man-of-the-match awards and score two goals, what are you going to remember?
"I am not putting myself under pressure.
"You ask if I've got a goals target?
"My target is to get as many as I can between now and the beginning of May.
"I'm up for the challenge and looking forward to it."
