Tetbury settled their Cirencester Youth League under 16 clash with Croft by a single goal.
There was plenty of goalmouth action throughout the game, with both teams spurning chances.
Tetbury's Redpath and Groves both had mazy runs in the penalty area intercepted by timely interventions from the Croft defence.
In the second half, a Goldthorpe header from a corner looped agonisingly over the Croft bar, while, in defence, Stevens and Brushneen continued to thwart any Croft initiative.
With 20 minutes to go, a Coy run was halted just outside the six-yard box but the ball fell to Ellis to slot home from close range.
