Bassett's four-try power-packed 27-7 win at Swanage & Wareham continued their unbeaten run in the Under 18 Merit Table with eight under 17's starring!
Steven Wells set the foundations with a dominant display in the scrum but Swanage seized the early lead with a broken-field converted try.
Bassett set a scrum close to the home side line. Wells, Sean Davies and Peter Stickler applied the pressure and Ben Lyon crashed over from five metres.
It was dj vu for the second as Stickler struck against the head and quick hands from Lee Dunham and Dan David put centre Oliver Gray in under.
Bassett's pack was in overdrive with Martin Toon and Jon Aston taking lineouts at will to set up another Lyon try.
In the second half Lyon again broke blind for his hat-trick. David converted two tries and a penalty.
