It was the turn of the Under 14s to see cup action this weekend with five first round matches and tightest game of the day was at Ballards Ash where Wootton Bassett raced into a 2-0 lead with goals from Harry Fitzwilliams and Jamie Brown.

Croft pulled one back and with just 20 seconds of the game remaining scored an equaliser to send the match into extra time.

With the momentum gained from their late rally Croft scored three times in the extra 20 minutes to make it safely into Round Two.

Highworth Juniors B join them in the last eight after a 4-1 win at AFC Barbury, with Tino Pileggi the star of the show with all four Highworth goals. The match up between the two finalists from last season in both the League and County Cups saw league leaders Eastville Boys comfortably defeat a Westlea Wanderers side who have had a tough couple of weeks. Steve Keir (2) and Max Etheridge scored the all-important Eastville goals.

They are joined in the draw for the next round by second placed Division One side Brunel Boys who were 4-1 winners at home against Fairford. Two for Dominic Burtenshaw plus one each for Alex Jeffries and Dane Tregoning.

The final side winning through to the next round were Highworth Juniors A, 2-0 winners at Ferndale Rodbourne. Sunday's winners are joined in the draw for the next round by the three sides who had byes, Penhill Allstars, Shrivenham & Watchfield and Shaw.

Due to the Cup First Round just one league game was played and it was between the two sides at the foot of the table. Shrivenham & Watchfield took advantage of the other sides being in cup action to move four places up the table following a 7-0 home win; Oliver Bailey (2), Mark French (2), Mark Houlton and Jonathan Himple among the scorers.
