ARTWORK by mental health patients has been on show.
Work by people who have spent time in Sandalwood Court Clinic, in Stratton St Margaret, and users of the Swindon Mind service was displayed in the charity's building in Regent Circus last week.
The exhibition featured paintings themed on life as an in-patient in a psychiatric unit and also included a collection of painted ceramic tiles.
Patients at the clinic received advice on their work from artist Anne Radu, who works as a volunteer there.
Some of the work will now be entered into a Mind national competition, which will be judged in mid-November.
Kathleen Aitken, the general manager of Swindon Mind, said: "Some people at the hospital are very keen on art.
"And many people find it very therapeutic, so we thought it would be a good idea to display their work."
