WILTSHIRE'S ghouls and ghostly tales will be the subject of a talk at the University of Bath in Swindon.

In a lecture called Wiltshire's Haunted Landscapes by Katy Jordan, the talk looks at folk customs, legends and ghostly tales associated with locations in the landscape of Wiltshire.

Katy, who has written books on Wiltshire folklore, will also talk about saints and sinners, devils and demon dogs, phantom coachmen and strange beings who walk the hilltops.

The talk is on Wednesday, November 3 from 5.30pm to 6.30pm in the main hall of the Oakfield Campus.

Admission and parking are free.
