ONE of the organisers of Preloader, the Wiltshire and Swindon short film festival, has appealed for locally produced short films.
Films submitted for the festival will be screened in Swindon, as well as Chippen-ham and Salisbury, at the end of November, when people will have a chance to chose which films should form part of a show to tour Wiltshire.
Richard White, one of the festival organisers, said: "There are many filmmakers at work around the county, from young people in schools and colleges to professionals."
Entries will be accepted in either of two categories, micro films under three minutes and short films under ten.
Mr White said: "In this festival we hope to be able to showcase the diversity of that talent in Wiltshire."
learn from each other and build the network.
"So whether you have got a short home video that you think is rather good or a micro animation that you would like to share, send it in."
The deadline for submission is November 5. Films can be submitted to Cre8 Studios, Town Hall, Regent Circus, Swindon. For more information contact preloader@cre8studios.org.uk
