POINTS mean prizes for Swindon schools as they scramble to finish top of the league in a competition run by a shopping centre.
For every £1 customers spend at The Brunel they receive one point which can be put towards the tally of the school they are supporting.
Bosses are giving away £5,000 of sports prizes to the highest scoring school. Pupils have also been invited to hand in a drawing or write a poem for 100 bonus points. There are also three mystery bonus points left to find in the Adver.
Vicki McErlean, marketing manager of The Brunel, said: "We are delighted to be giving away prizes whereby local schools and children can benefit from a healthier lifestyle. There has been an extremely positive response."
All 20 participating schools have an equal chance of winning the competition which finishes on November 4.
