Perhaps someone can tell me how China fits into the UK Woodland Conservation scheme?
My wife always buys charity Christmas cards where a token percentage of the price goes to charity and is clearly identified on purchase.
Recently she picked up a set of cards at Tescos which implied that they were part of a recycling scheme which benefited the UK.
However, she noticed that the cards were made in China and asked the branch manager to explain how these particular cards could possibly be aiding a charity where UK tree conservation was the object of the exercise?
Shrugging his shoulders he said it had nothing to do with it apart from the money accrued from paper recycling in the name of charity.
The question therefore is are the Chinese aiding and abetting UK Tree Conservation?
