Hostilities resumed this week in The Indoor Cricket League and it was business as usual for Swindon 1 as they brushed aside Shrivenham with an easy four-wicket win with four of their 10 overs remaining.
Shrivenham could muster only 62 all out and Swindon sauntered home as Darren Beasant made 27 no.
Asians 2 are likely to be contenders for the title and began their quest with a comfortable 31 run victory over close rivals Asians 1.
Asians 2 were briefly in trouble at 40-3 but Sohail blasted a rapid 48 no to see them for 115-4, a total which Asians 1 never looked like overhauling.
In Division 2, Wanborough 1 struggled initially against Wroughton but recovered well to post 127-3, Mike Pethick 30 no and Andy Clinning 29 no.
In reply Mike Evans carried the fight alone as he made an impressive 59 in a total of 93 all out.
Litten Tree also got off to a winning start as they edged out promoted United Churches by 10 runs.

Litten Tree set Churches 97 to win but four run outs doomed them to failure.
Nationwide won their first match in Division 3 against Ramsbury by four wickets.
Ramsbury made only 94-2, Dave Rushen 27 no, and in reply
Nationwide were not extended as Adam Rumbold made 25 no.
New Generation could go well in this division if they maintain the form shown when they thrashed Minety by 6 wickets.
Gordon Harris made 26 no in Minety's 72-5 but Tahir Hanif's 25 no and Barry Sellars 26 no ensured New Generation strolled home with three overs to spare.
In Division 4, Bob Upshall starred with the bat making 44 no as South West beat Wanborough 2 by five runs, for whom Ian McMurray scored 30 no. Newcomers Motorola made a pleasing start with a comfortable three-wicket win against Nalgo 4.
The North Wilts Junior Cricket League will be holding its presentation evening on Saturday at Chippenham Cricket Club, 7.30pm start.
Gareth Andrew of Somerset CC and England under 19s, will be presenting the awards.
Winners and runners up in each division will receive medals.
Individual awards will go to the leading batsman and bowler in each age group as well as scorers of 50 plus (u11), bowlers taking four wickets (u11), century makers (u13 and u15), and bowlers taking five wickets (u13 and u15).
