A STAVERTON woman has set up a new business to provide a care service for people living in west and north Wiltshire.
Helen Cass, 39, will be launching her new venture, Safe Care, on November 1.
She said: "I have been in care work for over 20 years. I worked in a residential care home for many years then tried different things.
"I missed the care work and found a role in domiciliary care and thought there was a huge demand for this type of care."
Safe Care will provide assistance with personal care, meal preparation, laundry and domestic shopping as well as a sitting service.
The business, which will cover Trowbridge, Melksham, Westbury, Bradford on Avon, Melksham, Corsham and Chippenham, as well as surrounding villages, will be run from Ms Cass' Staverton home.
The service will be available 365 days a year and can also be used on a temporary basis, for example for someone whose family is going on holiday or who needs temporary help while recovering from an illness or operation.
A service package will be created to suit the individual needs of each person Safe Care looks after.
The business has been registered with the Commission for Social Care Inspection.
