VETERAN goalkeeper Bernie Court is the longest serving player in the Chippenham Sunday League and is still diving between the posts at the age of 51.
Court, who now plays for the Old Road Tavern, has been playing in the league since he was 16.
He said: "I will keep playing until I don't get picked or stop enjoying it. I'm still quite fit but I have severe arthritis in my knees, hands, feet and spine.
"I have to cover myself in spray to get me through the match but I pay for it on Mondays. My wife moans at me every Monday to stop playing but I won't."
