WOOTTON Bassett Town continued their poor run of form as they were held to a 0-0 draw at home to lowly Milton United.
Bassett had the better of their opponents early on but Milton had the first shot of the game when Andy Chilvers shot over from 20 yards on three minutes.
Pete Yeardley's men had several chances to go in front but Dave Tyler, Steve Bunting, and Stu Hemsley all missed.
Elsewhere in the Premier Division, Highworth moved up to fifth following a 1-0 win at Almondsbury. Wayne Cleverley scored the only goal of the game in the first minute, but JP Mills was sent off along with the home side's Paul Dempsey.
In Division One West, Shrivenham's title hopes took a knock after a 4-2 reverse at Headington. Alex Green and Russ Byrne netted in the defeat.
Purton were crushed 6-0 at high-flying Trowbridge and Cirencester United lost 2-0 at Middle Barton.
Malmesbury Vics were also beaten, 4-1 at Hook Norton, Dan Lardner scored the consolation goal from the penalty spot.
