Calne's Alison Johnson represented the south west at the Slimming World district finals after losing a phenomenal five and a half stone.
After dropping four dress sizes, Mrs Johnson, 37, from Lansdowne Park, married her fianc Ray Johnson, 40, on a secluded beach in Sri Lanka.
Mrs Johnson puts her weight loss down to Slimming World's two weight loss plans where she eats healthier, even if she eats more than she used to.
She said: "I would say I probably eat more than I used to eat.
"I would have a Muller Light yoghurt for breakfast, two pieces of fruit during the morning, then at lunch I might have four Rivita with two slices of Dairylea and two pieces of sliced ham and another Muller Light yoghurt and some more fruit.
"Then in the afternoon I have more fruit, possibly another yoghurt and then in the evening what I might do is come home and have something like spaghetti Bolognese."
Mrs Johnson said she was unhappy before the weight loss, but now felt great, her joy culminating in the wedding.
"I was really unhappy with my weight and I found I was inhibiting my lifestyle," she said.
"Now I feel great, I feel really good about myself. I feel liberated and I can wear clothes and buy from a high street shop.
"The wedding reception back in England was possibly the best day of my life. There were people who had not seen me before I lost the weight, some had their mouths open and they were really complimentary. I was on top of the world."
