SWINDON Supermarine almost caused a major upset at Southern League West pacesetters Taunton last night.

Mark Collier's men appeared to be heading for victory until a shambolic late goal saw them settle for a respectable 1-1 draw.

Chris Copp volleyed Marine ahead on 14 minutes from Steve Bennett's cross.

But a late error from keeper Tom King allowed Jason Rees to nip the ball from his grasp and Leandro Peduto scrambled the equaliser on 83 minutes.

Matty Goodwin was later stretchered off with a knee injury.
