I'VE noticed the police with these mobile speed camera vans, which I am totally in favour of.
But why don't they site them on the roads which are meant to be 20mph?
I've seen them on Merlin Way, in Covingham, and also on the Great Western Way, near the Oasis, but never along St Paul's Drive or Kingfisher Drive, in Covingham.
I live near these roads and I walk my dog and baby twice a day around there.
And the number of cars including ones driven by mums with kids in the cars that go speeding along is disgusting.
I know of at least one child who has been knocked down outside Dorcan School, in St Paul's Drive.
How many more people have to be knocked down before people listen to the advertisements Speed Kills.
Or do we have to wait for someone to be killed before drivers keep to the speed limit, or the police arrange for a camera to be put up?
