I FEEL I must thank all my friends and acquaintances for their warmth and kindness when my husband Dick died.
It was such a comfort to us as a family to have all your letters and cards.
In our 54 years in Marlborough we have made many friends and I never feel lonely walking through the town.
I would also like to especially say how well Dick was looked after in the Swindon's Great Western Hospital in Falcon Ward.
The nurses and doctors couldn't have been kinder to us all and helped make Dick's final days very peaceful. Florence Nightingale would have been proud of them.
