I AM really amazed that your local newspaper could be so insensitive as to publish on its front page the article referring to the death of Bryan Maloney (Gazette, October 14).
It is understandable that Kevin Chandler still bears strong feelings of resentment over the circumstances surrounding his mother's death but surely this should not have been made such a public issue by the Gazette at a time when the Maloney family are grieving over the very sudden death of a husband, father and grandfather, and have to continue with their daily lives in a local community.
I hope that the family will receive an apology for the unnecessary hurt that has been caused to them at this particular time.
