TIMES: DELIVERY driver Owen Talbot put his first aid skills to good use when he witnessed a road accident in Hastings.
Airsprung employee Mr Talbot, of Long Close, Chippenham, was quick to help a 30-year-old man whose white van collided with an HGV in the south coast town.
The 32-year-old, who was making a delivery at the time of the crash last month, remains modest about his efforts.
He said: "I arrived just after the accident happened which left the driver of the white van with a serious open gash on his arm.
"I grabbed my first aid kit, wiped the wound clean and patched him up with a bandage before the ambulance arrived. I knew the basics of first aid from my driving training at Airsprung."
Mr Talbot has worked with Airsprung's Home Fleet for eight years and covers much of the south and south east.
