DEPUTY Westbury mayor Mike Hawkins has criticised West Wiltshire District Council for not allowing town councillors enough time to consider a conservation document.
The paper, detailing a review of the district's conservation areas, was posted to Westbury Town Council on October 11 and gave members two weeks to respond.
Cllr Hawkins said: "It's totally unrealistic to expect us to give our views by the end of October."
On Monday members asked the district council to extend the deadline.
