I LAY there as a tree my heart was heavy
One could feel this life was not for me.
What could be done when at that moment came the sun, it shone across my face,
I needed nothing more to give me grace.
At that second of despair a beam of light shone through the air
Golden and bright
Dancing with such delight.
It gave me the will to carry on the fight.
