WEST Wiltshire MP Dr Andrew Murrison took to the basketball court to show his support for disability charity John Grooms.
Dr Murrison joined fellow Tory MPs in taking on the GB Paralympic team at the party conference in Bournemouth.
The MPs pulled off a shock 27-24 win in a game that marked the launch of the charity's Life is a Lucky Dip for Disabled People campaign.
A John Grooms spokesman said: "Life for disabled people is a lucky dip. Too many disabled people's life chances are being restricted by inadequate and inappropriate services.
"Although new anti-discrimination laws came into force on October 1, there is still a long way to go before
disabled people can genuinely say that they feel included in society and have access to adequate services." More information from www.johngrooms.org.uk
