A 13-YEAR-OLD boy has written to the Prime Minister to appeal for his help in fighting the closure of the west Wiltshire to Waterloo train service.
John Flower, 13, of Bradley Road, Trowbridge, wrote a letter to Tony Blair when he heard the service was likely to be scrapped.
In his letter he said: "Please can you stop this from happening? My mum and dad have taken me and my sister on this train for a long time.
"It would be a pity to stop this, as it meant mum and dad could take us without having to worry about changing trains or wasting time waiting around.
"I also have a friend that has to take a wheelchair. This is hard enough but to now have to get on and off several times is going to stop them from being able to come with us.
"I have really enjoyed my visits to London and I have been shown many interesting things. Please again, can you help me?"
