HUNTING may soon be a thing of the past, but at a pub in Warminster the hounds are still chasing the fox.
The Fox and Hounds, Deverill Road, has just put up a new sign depicting the traditional and recently controversial scene of fox hunting.
Landlord Chris Pitcher says he has no strong feelings about the hunting debate but wanted to keep the traditional feel of the pub.
He said: "While we are decorating the inside and outside of the pub we won't be making too many changes and we'll be keeping the Fox & Hounds true to its origins."
Mr Pitcher knows what his clients want as he was a regular in the pub before moving to the other side of the bar.
"We had been in the pub trade for 11 years running the Pelican, a few miles down the Wylye Valley," he said.
"After three years we wanted to get back in the trade and were looking for a traditional pub.
"This one fitted the bill and the fact that it was my local was a bonus as I already knew most of the locals."
Wiltshire pub sign specialist Vivid Signs came up with the traditional style design.
