SHOPPERS in Warminster are being encouraged to support town businesses in the run up to Christmas.
The Warminster Independent Traders Association is putting yellow stickers in locally owned shops across the town to encourage customers to support them.
They hope to highlight all Warminster's main features and encourage residents to support local businesses.
Mark Brassington from WITA said: "It is time to highlight the varied and interesting shopping experience in our town.
"How many people for instance know that there is a high class perfumery in the town centre?
"Plus it's so much better for money to go back into the local economy rather than to shareholders in London."
WITA is a group of town businesses aiming to make the town more prosperous by generating jobs and revenue for the area.
