FOOTBALL and art merged in a series of children's workshops held in Trowbridge at the weekend.
The town museum, in The Shires shopping centre gave children between five and 16 the chance to work with Bath-based artist David Birks to create their own football-themed artwork.
About 20 youngsters took part in the sessions, using pastels, crayons and felt tips to colour their drawings.
The museum is hosting an exhibition devoted to the history of football and of Trowbridge Town Football Club.
The museum has been holding workshops throughout the year, funded by a grant from the South West Museums, Libraries and Archives Council.
The final workshops of the year, to be held on November 20 and 27, will be based around Christmas.
