Premier side AFC Stratton will no doubt be all out to redeem themselves against Shrewton United Reserves this week after a disastrous home defeat by lowly Pewsey Vale last weekend, writes RAY BURROUGHS.
Their assistant Rick Casey put their defeat down to some sloppy defending and will be looking for a much better performance this week. Following the defeat the club had dropped to seventh place in the table and three points is a must this week if they are to stay in touch with the leaders.
Cricklade Town entertain Bradford in what could well be the top match in the section. The two sides have a reputation for scoring goals and both keepers could well be in for a busy afternoon.
Bradford, second in the table, came out on top against fourth in the table Calne Town last week and will be looking to come away with at least a point.
Cricklade are one of the section's leading scorers but tend to concede the odd goal or two much to the annoyance of their manager Graham Jackson.
Purton Reserves are back in action following a blank week and will be looking to build on their first league victory in their last game. They travel to Bromham who have been doing quite well in their first season in the Premier Division and a point for the Red House side will not be out of the question.
League leaders Corsham Town visit Warminster who are no pushovers on their home patch and could well be made to struggle.
AFC Stratton Reserves defend their unbeaten record at West Swindon.
The home side are managed by Errol Dyer, brother of the Stratton senior side's boss Tony, no doubt the brotherly love angle will not come into play as West Swindon look for only their second win of the season.
Another close game could be in store at Marlborough with the home side, who are third in the table, take on second place Wroughton.
Just two points continue to separate the leaders of Junior Division Two.
Top of the pile AFC Abbey Rodbourne are without a game but second placed Castle Combe entertain AFC Rodbourne.
Undefeated so far this season the home side have won seven and drawn two and the Swindon side will have their work cut out to come away with a result.
Third placed Stratton St Margaret take on the County Ground who are in fifth spot and a close tussle could be the order of the day.
Barron Heating, who have lost just once, entertain Wroughton Reserves and should continue their good run.
