Ref. 73036-76THE second Blick ball raised at least £4,000 for charity.
The ball, held on Friday night at the De Vere Hotel in Shaw Ridge, saw 125 people attend.
It was raising money for the Wiltshire and Swindon Community Foundation, which in turn distributes grants to local organisations.
The foundation aims to give out at least £250,000 a year and help out 150 worthwhile projects in the county.
Divisional director of Blick Time Systems Liza Bewick said: "We've not finished collecting the money yet but we think we have reached £4,000.
"I thought it went very well. We couldn't get people to go home at 1.30am, the dancehall was always full, and we sold all the tables.
"We're pleased to do our bit to help."
As well as the ticket proceeds going to charity, there was also an auction which saw lots including a holiday in South Africa go under the hammer.
Liza said: "People are already trying to persuade us to do it again and we will if we can."
Last year's ball raised £3,000.
